THE VILLAGE WITHIN - Co-Work + Nanny Share Experience

The Village Within is a calm, nature-based space for mothers who are craving a little more breathing room… without needing to be away from their children.

A few hours where you can work, create, connect or simply pause, while your child is nearby, safe and supported in a nurturing environment.

This isn’t just childcare.

And it’s not just time away.

It’s a space where both you and your child are supported at the same time.

Why this feels different

Time for themselves or time with their child.

Space to think or being fully present.

The Village Within is designed to remove that pressure.

You’re not leaving your child behind.

You’re not trying to do everything at once.

You’re stepping into a space where both can coexist.

What the experience feels like

You arrive and settle into a calm, welcoming space.

Your child is gently supported nearby by experienced nannies, with options for outdoor play, creative activities and connection.

From there, the time is yours.

You might:

– get some focused work done

– journal or reflect

– connect with other women

– or simply sit, breathe and have a moment to yourself

There is no pressure to do anything a certain way.

Just space.

What’s included

• A dedicated co-working space with WiFi, tables, power, and quiet areas for focused work

• Comfortable spaces for breastfeeding, feeding, or settling your little one if needed

• 4 experienced nannies supporting the children throughout the morning

• A calm onsite space for younger children up to 2 years old

• Optional Golden Grove nature-play experience for children up to 8 years old

• Outdoor play, movement, books, creativity, and slower rhythms woven throughout the day

• Fully fenced outdoor spaces for exploration, connection, and play

• Supported transitions between spaces so children feel safe and settled

The morning has been intentionally designed to feel calm, spacious, and flexible for both mothers and children.

The flow of the morning

• 9:00am — arrive and settle into the space

• 9:30am — gentle transition to Golden Grove for older children attending the nature-play session

• 9:30am – 11:30am — co-work time / nature-play session runs

• 11:30am — children return for supported lunch and reset

• 12:30pm – 1:00pm — relaxed close with continued nanny support for mums wanting to finish up work.

Mothers are welcome to move between spaces throughout the morning as needed, allowing for connection, feeding, settling, check-ins, or simply remaining close by if desired.

A beautiful experience for your child too

This isn’t traditional childcare.

Your child is held in a safe, nurturing environment with attentive, vetted nannies, with a strong focus on calm, connection and age-appropriate play.

For older children, there is also the option to attend a nearby nature-based experience, allowing them to explore, learn and enjoy their own meaningful time.

So while you are being supported, they are too.

Every child is different.

Every family is different.

We deeply value listening to how you would like your child cared for and supported throughout the morning.

Their routines, needs, comforts, sensitivities, feeding, settling, preferences, and transitions matter.

Our intention is for both you and your little one to feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for within the space.

The space

We’ll be based in a beautifully maintained, heritage-listed cottage surrounded by open grassed areas and nature.

There is a separate co-working space for mums, intentionally set up to create more spaciousness, flow, and focus throughout the morning.

You can close the door if you need deeper focus.

Or you can step outside and see your child laughing, playing, exploring, or settling with support.

If they need you, you’re close enough.

If you want to check in, you can.

The choice is yours, because separation isn’t being forced here.

Built from real feedback

This space has already been experienced by a small group of mums, and every refinement moving forward is being shaped by real feedback and lived needs.

What’s been intentionally integrated:

• more spacious room layouts

• greater separation between co-work and child spaces

• an additional nanny for stronger support

• smoother transitions for children and parents

• slower pacing and calmer flow throughout the morning

The intention is simple:

To create something that genuinely supports mothers in real life, not something rigid, rushed, or overly structured.

Investment

$88 per session + $27 - 2 hour Golden Grove Workshop = $115 total

This reflects:

• qualified and insured nanny support

• intentionally high nanny-to-child ratios

• smaller group sizes

• a nature-led environment

• venue hire

• slower, more supported transitions

• personalised care and attention

• and a thoughtfully designed setup that supports both mothers and children

Optional 2 hour - Golden Grove Nature Play Add-On

+$27 per family (inclusive of siblings)

Sibling Pricing

Additional sibling pricing varies depending on whether your child remains onsite at The Cottage.

+ $5 per hour for additional siblings.

What makes this different

This isn’t traditional co-working. And it isn’t traditional childcare.

This is a slower, more intentional, community-led experience where children remain nearby and connected to their parents while still being gently supported by trusted caregivers.

Nature, outdoor play, creativity, movement, and emotional safety are intentionally prioritised throughout the experience.

All families are welcome here.

This space is built on inclusivity, respect, and the understanding that every family holds different values, parenting styles, and ways of moving through life.

There is no expectation of perfection.

Only support, safety, community, and care.

Founding Rates & The Bigger Vision

The Village Within was created from lived experience and the understanding that mothers shouldn’t have to choose between being present for their children and having support for themselves too.

The long-term vision is to create a supportive community space on the Central Coast that blends co-work, nanny-share, workshops, practitioner-led offerings, nature-based experiences, and eventually support for homeschooling families and deeper community connection.

A place where mothers, families, and practitioners can work, create, heal, connect, and remain close to their children in a more supported and human way.

These rates are currently being offered as founding pricing while each layer of the experience continues to be intentionally refined and expanded.
